Growth operations

The work behind growing a business.

Follow-up, sales, pricing, referrals, and the simple systems behind them. It is the same work Sean did to help grow El Toro into the largest ad-tech company in Kentucky and TRIM NuLu into the most well-known salon in Louisville.

What we help with

Turning more inquiries into paying customers, and keeping them coming back.

We do not hand you a plan and walk away. We work alongside your team to set up the steps, scripts, and habits that win customers and bring them back.

Handling inquiries and bookings

Clear responsibilities, response scripts, and simpler booking steps.

Calls and inquiries get missed

We call every number and submit every form, then fix where they go and who answers.

What one phone call found ›

Booking takes too much back and forth

We cut the steps between “I want this” and a confirmed booking, for customers and staff.

How a tour company fixed it ›

Sales and repeat business

A sales process, a follow-up schedule, and programs that bring customers back.

A sales process a team can run

From first conversation to signed contract, written down and trained, so sales do not depend on one person.

How El Toro built one ›

Nobody follows up

A simple follow-up schedule and scripts, so interested customers hear back and come back.

Referrals on purpose

A program that turns the customers you already have into your best source of new ones, tracked to the person who sent them.

A referral card example ›

Customers who come back

Booking, rebooking, and follow-up that bring customers back on a schedule instead of by chance.

How TRIM cut no-shows ›

An offer and pricing that make sense

What to sell, to whom, and at what price, without discounting so often that customers learn to wait.

Why TRIM ran one discount a year ›

Marketing measured against revenue

Spending tied to calls, bookings, and sales, not impressions and clicks, so you know what to keep.

12 checks for your marketing ›

Consistent staff procedures

Written instructions, training, and clear responsibilities.

Each employee does the same job differently

Written steps the team can follow, so the work gets done the same way without the owner in the middle.

Nobody knows who owns what

Clear responsibilities, so customers do not fall between people and nothing waits on the owner.

New hires take too long to get up to speed

Simple written steps and short training, so new staff do the work right from the first week.

Experience

Sean has done this in his own companies.

Not advice from the sidelines. These are two businesses Sean helped build and run, with his own money on the line.

EL TORO · CO-FOUNDED 2012

Selling a technology nobody had heard of.

Sean co-founded El Toro, an ad-tech company selling IP targeting before most buyers knew what it was, and led sales for its first eight years.

He built the plain-language messaging, the sales process, and the sales team that grew it from three co-founders in a basement to more than 100 employees.

TRIM NULU · CEO 2020 TO 2026

Rebuilding a salon after COVID emptied its market.

TRIM cut hair inside office buildings. When COVID emptied the offices, Sean moved it into a destination salon in NuLu and rebuilt the service menu, booking, and marketing around it.

Card-secured booking cut no-shows from 20% to nearly zero, and one Black Friday gift card sale a year brought in $17,000 in a day, per Square.

How it works

Talk first. Then the work.

Growth work is scoped in writing, at a price agreed before we start. Why we call this growth engineering.

1. A free 20-minute call

Tell Sean where growth is stuck. He will tell you honestly whether we can help.

2. A closer look

We go through the numbers, the sales process and how customers find, and buy from you. If calls, forms, booking, or your website are part of it, that adds the $1,500 audit, credited toward the work. Otherwise you get a written proposal after the call.

3. We build it with your team

A written scope and price, then the work itself: processes, scripts, and programs, handed over so your team keeps it running. While we work together, a short weekly scorecard (calls answered, bookings, follow-ups) shows what is changing. Most growth projects run three to six months.
